When you became a part of sports community, whether it might be running, biking, swimming, or the combined sports of triathlon, you get to meet people which later on becomes your friend. And it is not only the sports you share with each other, you have relationship with this people beyond that sports. The community that each one of us shares with now becomes a society. Now, what does a society means?
SOCIETY (noun)
The noun SOCIETY has 4 senses:1. an extended social group having a distinctive cultural and economic organization
2. a formal association of people with similar interests
3. the state of being with someone
4. the fashionable elite
All of the meaning given above clearly states of what we have. All of us have an extended social group beyond what we have with our family, relatives, work friends, and church friends. We have formed a bond that focuses on our interest, and thus an online forums and websites have been created. We long to be with these person, we schedule long runs, movie dates, and even coffee time. Here are some pictures that I have with the people that I have acquainted because of running. 🙂
